Measure a necklace or bracelet you already like, laid flat from clasp to end. For a necklace, use a soft tape around your neck at the position you want it to sit. These are finished jewellery lengths; drape varies with your proportions and the diamond size.

Choose the finished length you want, measured from clasp to end with the chain laid flat. A Cuban’s width, thickness and clasp affect its fit; gold weight alone does not determine length.
